For the current issue of windows.developer magazine I wrote an article about building a custom IoT button, calling web services and APIs from it and visualizing those events.
The articles in windows.developer magazine are written in German, so apologies to my non-German-speaking friends and followers.
The article shows how to:
- Create a custom IoT button device from scratch from a hardware perspective.
- How to programming the IoT device using the Arduino IDE.
- Call Web APIs from the IoT device.
- Use the ThingSpeak platform to quickly visualize IoT data.
In case you're interested, here's a short teaser of the article, but even better: grab a copy of windows.developer and check out that article for yourself.
Also, make sure to check out my other writing in case your are interested.
