WP7– Why are my apps not grouped by their initial letter?
December 31, 2011Looking at someone else’s Windows Phone 7 recently, I noticed that this person’s app list did not group the apps by their initial letter, like I was used to it on my phone.
Trying to figure out the setting to turn this nice feature on, I had to discover that there is no such setting.
The answer in this case is simple, and even though it’s not 42, it’s close to it: the answer is 45! As soon as a user has 45 apps installed, the grouping feature gets enabled automatically.
