This year Christmas came one day early for me - the Xbox One (ETA December 24th) arrived already today.

The male part of the family got pretty excited.

The Xbox One’s awesome controller. A thing of beauty and incredible haptic. Also, one of the main reasons (besides games like Halo or GoW) that I’d never ditch this console platform.

The all-new Kinect device.

And here’s the XBox One itself: very stylish, polished and simplistic. A classy living room device (that HDMI sticker is already off).

First thing after powering one my new XBox One, an update was pulled.

After that, I immediately installed FIFA 14. That installation was an awesome experience of its own - simply holding a QR code in front of the Kinect sensor and the game gets downloaded and installed. Couldn’t be any easier - here’s a Vine clip demonstrating that.
